A short
time ago I was invited to join four of my fellow Regency authors in a "box
set" e-book. When I learned that the other authors were Elizabeth Bailey,
Wendy Soliman, Amanda Grange and Fenella J Miller, how could I refuse? And thus was born our Regency Quintet, Valentine Edition.
My own
contribution to this box set was Dance
for a Diamond, my award-winning romance set in Bath, where the autocratic
Sir Laurence Oakford crosses swords with the
owner of a select dancing academy, Miss Antonia Venn. However, Laurence
and Antonia have met before, in an encounter that could ruin Antonia, if ever
it should become public! This sparkling
Regency romance has always been a favourite of mine and I am delighted to include it.
And what
other delights are in store? Here's a
short introduction…
First is A Gallant Defender by Fenella J Miller, in which the
resourceful Eliza Fox joins forces with Mr Fletcher Reed in an attempt to save
her family by outwitting the villainous Lord Wydale…
Next in the
quintet is The Silverton Scandal by Amanda Grange, a rip roaring adventure
romance involving a spirited heroine, a blackmailer and a lord masquerading as
a highwayman…
Then we
have At the Duke's Discretion by Wendy Soliman. Surely there can be no
future for Amos, who is a duke's heir, and Cristobel, a nobody with a criminal past? But an adventure involving murder
and blackmail brings them together…
And last
but by no means least is Fated Folly
by Elizabeth Bailey, the sweet and
poignant tale of youthful minx Clare Carradale, who beards the ogre, Sir Rupert
Wolverley, in his den and immediately becomes smitten with him. Theirs should
be a marriage of convenience, but Clare has most inconveniently fallen in love
with Sir Rupert…
So there
you have it, five super Regency romances in one box set. Who could want more?
Enjoy!
